Almandin may have taken home the Melbourne Cup trophy (Heartbreak City came second, what irony!), but the real winners in my book are the racegoers. What a feast for the eyes it was! The unofficial Cup Day dress code has always been bold and show-stopping, and Melbourne Cup Fashion 2016 did not disappoint. Red ruled the day, as well as solid colour-blocking, capes, and cape-like sleeves. Without further ado, here is the best of Melbourne Cup Fashion 2016.
