GLOW ON

Having modelled I have had the privilege of working with some of the industries best hair and make up artists. So when it comes to getting my make up done I look no further than Melbourne’s own Narelle Hall. Narelle has worked in the industry for 15 years and has extensive knowledge in all things hair and make up.

I caught up with her recently (after her month long holiday in India, lucky duck!) to discuss the latest make up trends this summer. Everyone should opt for a healthy radiant glow, she said!
For a fresh look use an illuminator to create dewy skin and accentuate your cheekbones. Enhancing the look of your skin creates a beautiful base, and works perfectly for a more natural makeup look.

Give your skin a glowing complexion it deserves!  Use the following creams with your foundation to create the look. Remember to still powder your T zone afterwards.

MAC Strobe Cream / MAC Cosmetics

TERRY Cellularose Brightening CC Lumi – Serum / Mecca Cosmetica

To highlight your skin and add more interest to your look but still keep in natural, use the following.

NARS Illuminator – Copocabana – Glistening Pearl / Mecca Cosmetica

HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Powder – Dim Light / Mecca Cosmetica

Illuminators come in liquid, cream and powder form. Liquids and cream work well on normal to dry skin while powders are good for oily types.

Highlight and create interest around the eyes and cheekbones in a “C” shape.

Highlight inner corners of your eyes and a soft smudge in centre of lid.

Accentuate lips with a highlight around the cupid’s bow of your lips.
